At AJ-Security, we are fully committed to ensuring, as far as reasonably practicable, the health, safety, and welfare of all employees, as well as anyone affected by our operations.
We recognize that effective health and safety management is essential to the success of our business. This requires a comprehensive policy, supported by an organizational structure that reflects our senior management’s commitment. We will continuously measure, monitor, and review our safety practices through an annual plan to ensure standards remain high and up to date.
Our Directors are responsible for implementing the health and safety policy and will recommend any necessary changes to adapt to new circumstances. These updates will be communicated and actioned through our management chain. AJ-Security understands that successful health and safety management contributes to overall business performance, and we will allocate the necessary resources and finances to support this objective.
Promoting health and safety is a shared responsibility across all levels of the company. We are committed to preventing personal injury and property damage, and protecting everyone who interacts with our company from foreseeable hazards or dangers.
Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, all employees are informed of their personal responsibility to care for their own health and safety, and that of others, by taking necessary precautions and avoiding actions that could endanger others. They must also work in cooperation with the company to ensure legal compliance and effective implementation of this policy.
We will maintain regular consultation with our workforce to ensure that all viewpoints and suggestions are considered and discussed. We will take a systematic approach to identifying hazards, assessing risks, implementing control measures, and providing employees with the necessary information, instruction, training, and supervision to carry out their work safely.
AJ-Security will, as far as is reasonably practicable, ensure safe working environments, systems, machinery, and handling of materials. We regard health and safety legislation as a minimum requirement and expect management to meet their targets without compromising safety in any aspect of our operations.
